IV. INSPECTIONS
(Name of the Inspector) shall conduct (time period, at least annually) inspections to ensure that the procedure of this program
is being followed. The inspection will include the following:
1. Correcting any deviations or inadequacies observed.
2. Where lockout devices are used, an interview shall be conducted with each authorized
employee regarding responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected.
3. Where tagout devices are used, an interview shall be conducted with each authorized and effected employee
regarding responsibilities under the energy control procedures being inspected and the tagout system as
outlined in the training section of this program.
Certified inspections shall be performed to identify the machine or equipment, the date of the inspection, the employees
included in the inspection and the person performing the inspection.
